Tales from the crib

So last night I noticed a bunch of red lights on Henry's monitor right after he went to bed so I turned on the volume to hear what he was saying and it was so cute!

First he was singing the clean up song (or his version of it)
"clean up clean up" "time to clean up clean up" (think he's trying to tell me something??)

Then he listed off everyone he could think of and whether they were going. Not sure where we were all going but it went something like this:
"Mama going?"
"Dada going?"
"Granpa?"
"Unka Sam?"
"Aka going?"
"Gramma?"

And he ended with a nice round of his new favorite song, "Happy Birthday to Henry" (those are the only words you just sing and repeat)

And then he went to sleep.

The Mogglsby invasion, Day one

Sarah, Mike, Monica, Zach and Maggie came to visit for Nancy and Peter's wedding and Sarah took a ton of fabulous pics. Here are some from day one at the park:

ETA: I can't believe I forgot this one! I love it!

Taking a break from our regularly scheduled programming

To talk about Lucy.

Lucy began throwing up on Sunday afternoon which for her is not that big of a deal. Her vomiting continued into Monday and she could no longer even keep water down and hadn't eaten in over a day so we decided to take her in to the vet. They ran some blood work, did an X-ray (see above) and found that everything was normal except for her fever and dehydration. They recommended that she stay on IV fluids for at least 24 hours which meant we had to transfer her to an emergency clinic overnight so that she could be watched. That clinic was also unable to find any cause of her problems so we decided to bring her home and wait it out. She's now living the high-life because my brief internet research regarding what to feed dogs following an illness like this listed rice, cottage cheese and chicken. Chicken is Lucy's most favorite thing in the world. I wish I could have gotten a picture of the hug that Henry gave her when she got home, it was absolutely priceless.
