Our last day of Tots 2

The weather in MN has been less than desirable lately and it seems that all of Henry's swimming classmates decided to stay home yesterday instead of attending the last class. Bill and I saw two accidents on our way there (missing one by inches) and completely understood why some chose to stay home. Anyway Henry got extra attention from teacher Brooke since he was the only one in class and mommy felt a little silly singing all the songs alone. Here are a few pics from grandma's phone camera:

Poor buddy lost 3 pounds last week. He's quickly working on getting it back by eating lots of holiday treats!

Day 3 - 12/11/08:

He's still sick today. I'll spare you the gory details but there are apparently two viruses going around in our area right now, one that involves a cough/cold and one that involves diarrhea/vomiting/fever. He has both of them. He's getting lots of rest and watching lots of movies but is having trouble keeping food down when he's willing to even eat anything. Let's hope that tomorrow is a healthier day!

Day 4 - 12/12/08:

Still sick - today was spent mostly sleeping. He kept a little food down today so we're hoping he'll get his energy back soon.





Day 5 - 12/13/08

Today we went back to the doctor because his cough was getting worse and his fever was not yet gone. This doctor diagnosed him with bronchitis and gave us a prescription for antibiotics. We're hoping these make a difference! He's still not interested in eating but is mostly keeping liquids down.

Day 6 - 12/14/08

Henry slept all night last night which had to help his healing. This morning he is slightly more energized (meaning he can walk short distances) but is not yet interested in eating. We think he's probably scared to eat because the throwing up scared him quite a bit. He still has a low fever so we may take him back to the doctor tomorrow. His doctor said that if his fever persists until Monday or Tuesday he may need a chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia.
