Henry is slowly catching on when we spell things to avoid him figuring out what we're talking about. The other night grandma asked grandpa if it he agreed it would be a good idea to stop for i.c.e c.r.e.a.m on the way home from dinner. Before grandpa had a chance to reply, Henry exclaimed "ICE CREAM!" He hasn't yet figured out l.a.k.e but that's probably because he's only heard it a few times. Today we took him for his first dip in Lake Nokomis and our fearless little man jumped right into the chilly water and swam for as long as we'd allow. We finally bribed him out of the water with a promise of what else but ice cream.
