Dinner with the Moores

Mama's girlfriend

Henry is officially not happy with mama and dada hugging or kissing. It is now to the point where he intervenes and tries to get in between us and tells Bill "mama's girlfriend" (which we can only assume means he's announcing that mama is HIS girlfriend). It's so cute and sometimes without prompting he'll turn to Bill and randomly announce that "she's MY girlfriend." I must say I don't mind this phase at all :)

Visiting Jameson

Dinners with g-ma and g-pa

Henry and I stayed with grandma and grandpa for a few days while dada was camping in the boundary waters. We went out to dinner each night and here are a few pics of our adventures.

Here are a few hilarious pics of Henry at the zoo last weekend. He LOVES his dolphin visor (he even makes dolphin sounds).

Not nummy

Henry decided recently (after extensive taste testing) that markers are "not nummy."

"I burped-deded"

Whenever Henry or anyone else burps he announces "I burped-deded" or "Grandpa burped-deded." It might not sound that cute but it's seriously adorable and I needed to share.

Our new baby

We got a kitty cat over the weekend! Her name is Lucky and Henry absolutely adores her. She is pretty tolerant of him as well. Lucy wants to play and Lucky thinks she's trying to attack her but they're getting better. Here are a few pics:

Congrats to the Flannery Family!!

Nicky, Taylor and Cullen welcomed a new little man into their lives today, Jameson Thomas Flannery was born today at 12:16 pm. He is 6 lbs 12 oz and 21 inches long!

_______ bought it

So apparently for the last two years Henry has been cataloging who purchased each thing that he owns. He never really appeared to be paying attention at the time but apparently was taking some kind of detailed mental notes. When grandma Aka was recently in town she and great grandma took Henry to Wal-Mart and got him a few "surprises" (he calls most things surprises). He remembers EVERYTHING that Aka bought him that day. He has about, I don't even know, 75 toy cars? He pulled out one of them yesterday and told me "Aka bought it" and he was totally right. He put on his yellow m&m's hat the other day (that grandma Deb and grandpa Jack bought in Vegas about a month ago) and immediately told me "grandpa bought it!" So he may not be old enough yet to write everyone detailed thank you's but he's definitely remembering and appreciating each and every surprise!

john deere fruit snacks - aka bought it
spiderman light up shoes - aka bought it
big boy bed - dada built it (apparently if things require a lot of assembly the builder gets the credit over the buyer :))

Twins Game

Grandpa's annual work gathering at the football pressbox for a Twins game was on Sunday. Henry had a great time! Here are a few pics:

Swimming Lessons

Because Henry loves the water so much we thought it would be a good idea to start swimming lessons this fall. I mistakenly mentioned it to him on Saturday so he could begin to get excited for Sunday but of course he could not understand why he would need to wait so he had a bit of a meltdown. (note to self, wait until 5 minutes before class to mention it) The last thing he asked us before bed on Saturday was "wake up go swimming?" and the first thing he said when he woke up on Sunday was "go swimming now?" He'll be going every Sunday until Christmas. He and daddy had a great first class and are excited for next week! Henry needs to work on following directions but we think this will be a great place to work on that!
