Uncle Sam's Birthday

We celebrated uncle Sam's birthday a few weeks ago and I forgot to share pics. Here is Henry helping uncle Sam blow out his candles.

Yesterday Henry was wearing his new argyle sweater from H&M and as he and dada were getting ready to leave for Monica's house in the morning the following conversation ensued:

Bill: "Henry, you sure look sharp today!"
Henry: (looks down at his sweater, thinks for a second then touches his chest) "Ouch!"

The smallest commercial airport in the world

As most of you know, we're planning our 5 year anniversary trip to St. Maarten. During the first week Bill and I plan to return to the neighboring island of Saba (pronounced Say-buh) and since we just booked our cottage at the Ecolodge yesterday I'm officially super excited! I can't say enough good things about that island! Since I'm sure I'll bombard you with pics once we get back I will share only one with you today.

He's creative with crayons

Henry has recently discovered that crayons aren't just for coloring. He builds bridges, roads and various other things out of them while killing time at dinner. Here are a few pics of some of his recent work:

He graduated!

Henry had his evaluation at swimming class last week to determine whether he was ready to graduate from "Tots 2" to "Tots 3" and he passed! He had to do two things to prove himself as ready:

"Swim" underwater for 5 seconds (essentially I pushed him and his teacher caught him)
Back float (with light assistance) for 5 seconds

Homecoming Parade

We took Henry to the University of MN Homecoming parade last weekend and since it was the day after Halloween we thought it was a great opportunity to wear his dino costume.
